Your career and education history gives the Interviewer a head start. Paste a screenshot or two of your own LinkedIn profile below — no password, no app connection, no data export required. Right now this reads career positions and education onto your Life Timeline — certifications and recommendations aren't processed yet.
Go to your profile page on LinkedIn (desktop or mobile) and scroll to your Experience and/or Education section.
One screenshot per section is usually enough — add as many as you need to capture everything. We read what's on screen once and never store the image.
Not sure how to take a screenshot?
Mac: press Cmd + Shift + 3 to capture the whole screen, or Cmd + Shift + 4 to drag over just the area you want.
Windows: press Windows key + Shift + S, then drag over the area you want to capture.
LinkedIn's own export is more thorough (covers every entry at once) but takes longer — the file typically arrives by email within about 10 minutes of requesting it.
Visit linkedin.com → Me → Settings & Privacy → Data Privacy → Get a copy of your data. You don't need to give LinkedIn any reason.
Choose at least Positions and Education (the rest is fine to leave unchecked for now). Then click Request archive.
LinkedIn will email you a download link. The ZIP file contains the CSV files we need. You don't need to open the ZIP — just drag it here, or upload the individual CSV files.
Drop your ZIP or individual CSV files below. We extract your career and education history, add it to your Life Timeline, and immediately delete the raw data.
